A Day Full of Laughs, Door Games, McDonald’s… and So Much Love
I don’t think I’ve laughed this much at a wedding. From the moment we showed up, Donna and Daneil’s wedding was a full-on celebration — high energy, full of heart, and just… chaos in the best way possible. Honestly? Even after 15 hours, we didn’t want to leave the dance floor.
Morning Tears, Ties, and TV Reflections
We started the day with Donna, surrounded by close friends and family at home. There were a lot of hugs. A lot of happy tears. And thank god for waterproof mascara. The love in that house was loud in the most beautiful way.
Over at Daneil’s, things were running on classic groomsman time — aka the limo was arriving and they were just getting started. Mirrors were all taken, so the guys used the TV to tie their ties. (Yes, seriously.) His mom and aunts stood on the stairs behind him, beaming with pride. The finishing touch? A pair of clean Nike Airs that were veryDaneil. Sharp suit up top, sneaker game on point.
Door Games = Peak Comedy
Now, this is where things really started to get wild. The guys rolled up to Donna’s house, McDonald’s breakfast still in hand, ready to earn their way inside — because in Vietnamese tradition, the groom doesn’t just walk in. He works for it.
The bridesmaids had a full line-up of door games ready:
✅ Wasabi-eating
✅ Candy-on-a-string-catching
✅ High heel sprints
✅ Singing love songs with 0% shame
And Donna? She watched the whole thing unfold from upstairs on her phone while getting her makeup touched up. I swear we could hear her laughing from the top floor.
When Daneil finally passed all the tests, Donna came down the stairs — and cue the waterworks all over again. That first look moment with her family? So emotional.
Portraits in the Rain at Richmond Green
The whole crew hopped in the limo (pit stop: McD’s again, obviously), and we made our way to Richmond Green for photos. The rain didn’t stop a thing — this bridal party brought the energy. Constant jokes, nonstop giggles, and Donna and Daneil were just having the best time. These two don’t take life too seriously — and it made the photos so real and so them.
Vietnamese Tea Ceremony & Outdoor Vows
Back at Shangri-La Banquet Hall, Donna changed into a stunning traditional Vietnamese dress for their tea ceremony. It was quiet, respectful, and meaningful — the kind of moment that reminds you why weddings are about so much more than just one couple.
After tea and blessings, it was back into the white dress for the outdoor wedding ceremony. Held under a big white tent, it felt like something out of a movie — and these two couldn’t stop smiling through the whole thing.
Reception: Mot, Hai, Ba, YOOO!! 🔥
The vibe inside the reception was straight fire. The room was decked out in golds and purples, and from the second the doors opened, it was non-stop celebration.
There were:
Wedding games
Roasting speeches
Champagne table-to-table toasts
And the most high-energy dance floor
You couldn’t take five steps without hearing “MOT, HAI, BA, YOOOO!!” — the Vietnamese version of “Cheers!” that means “1, 2, 3, yo!” and it was shouted every ten minutes like a war cry.
If the dancing ever slowed down (spoiler: it didn’t), people were outside grabbing funnel cake from the Funnel Cake Dream food truck or refreshing their stash of McNuggets. Yes, McDonald’s made another appearance. And no, we are not mad about it.
Donna & Daneil — you threw one of the wildest, most love-filled parties I’ve ever been a part of. Your wedding was fun, emotional, and completely, beautifully you. Mot, Hai, Ba, YOOO!!! 🥂🔥

If you haven’t seen Donna & Daneil’s engagement session yet — you’re in for something special. We kicked things off with one of the most unique engagement shoots we’ve ever done: at a real fire station, where Daneil works.
From climbing on fire trucks to wandering the charming streets of Dundas, these two brought so much personality to their pre-wedding photos. It’s playful, bold, and totally them.
