Archeo Toronto Wedding Photographer
Archeo is one of my favourite Distillery District wedding venues in Toronto because it photographs well in every direction. Brick, texture, warm light inside, and the whole neighbourhood right outside the door. If you care about candid moments but still want your portraits to look clean and intentional, this place is a cheat code.
Ajay and Rachel’s day had that perfect mix of calm and chaos. The good kind. The kind where people are fully present, emotions come out fast, and the dance floor turns into a full on event.
Getting ready at One King West
The morning started with that quiet excitement that always happens right before things get real. Music on, people moving around, details getting finished, and those little moments that you do not realize matter until you see them in photos later. One thing I loved about Ajay and Rachel is how much they trusted the day. Nothing felt forced. It was just them, their people, and a timeline that gave us enough space to breathe.
First Look and Couple Portraits
If you are doing portraits in the Distillery District, the biggest win is variety without driving anywhere. You can get clean portraits, a few fun frames, and those cinematic street moments in a short window.
We kept it simple. A few strong spots, quick direction, then letting them fall back into their own rhythm. That is when the best photos happen.
Ceremony at Archeo
Archeo ceremonies always feel intimate, even when the room is full. People are close, reactions are big, and the whole thing feels grounded. Ajay’s face when Rachel came in said everything. That moment alone could carry the whole story.
Reception at Archeo
Once the reception started, the energy went up fast. Archeo is perfect for that because the space already has mood. Warm tones, candlelight, and that cozy vibe where everyone feels pulled into the same room together. Speeches were equal parts funny and emotional, the kind where people are laughing and wiping tears at the same time. Then the party kicked in and it stayed loud.
Night photos in the Distillery District
If you get married at Archeo, do not skip ten minutes for night photos. The Distillery District lights are unreal, and it gives you a totally different look than daytime portraits. Quick, easy, and always worth it.

The wedding of Keri and Jeremy at Archeo in the Distillery District was one of the sweetest, most emotional, and fun weddings we’ve been lucky enough to capture. You guys already know how much we love criers at weddings, and while at most weddings we hope for maybe the bride or the parents of the couple to cry a little (big bonus if the groom gives us a tear or two), we could have never expected the outpour of emotion that we witnessed at Keri & Jeremy’s Archeo wedding
