Same-Sex Summer Wedding at Argonaut Rowing Club

Almost 99% of the time the getting ready is one of most fun moments on the wedding day, specially for me, because I have a lot of time to play with something creative, create something new. It is the time when everyone is just relaxed, it's the calm before the storm. And Adam and Geoff's wedding morning wasn't different, it was just laughs from the beginning to the end.

They got ready at Le Germain Hotel Toronto Maple Leaf Square in Downtown Toronto, a perfect place for photos. The hotel has an awesome shower that you could see through the balcony, lucky me, Adam and Geoff were down for some shower photos. With a cool couple and a perfect place, I did one of sickest shower shots so far. ( The top photo on this blog) :D
A little later in the morning, some of their friends joined at the hotel for some drinks and some help, more drinks than help lol. Once they were ready, we made our way to the streets of Downtown Toronto, right at the Maple Leaf Square, it was the perfect canvas for their couple portraits.

That wasn’t the first time that I shot at the Argonaut Rowing Club, back in 2017 I had the pleasure to shoot Chris and Lu's Wedding. This time I knew a little bit what to expect, but like I tell all my clients, even when I get the chance to shoot at the same places, I always try to do different, because every couple is different, every day is different. And the vibe of Adam, Geoff and their family and friends was something else :D
At this time I used the deck by the water to do the wedding party photos and the family as well. With that out of the way, it was time for ceremony. 

Ceremony at Argonaut Rowing Club

As you guys probably know, I am a little crying baby when come to wedding ceremonies, specially same sex weddings. And this time wasn’t different. 
With Lake Ontario as our witness, Geoff and Adam’s ceremony was beautiful, everyone that was there, really wanted to be there, everywhere I looked I could see some tiers, of course on my face as well lol. It was a such fun and emotional moment.

Reception and Sunset Couple Photos at Argonaut Rowing Club

The reception space at the Argonaut Rowing Club really came to life with the beautiful decor and the amazing job that Argonaut crew did. 
In my opinion one of the best features at the Argonaut is the large windows with the view of Lake Ontario, OMG!! Is just stunning.
With a lot of fun speeches, emotional mather and son dances, and a lot of good food, the evening was going by so fast, but we still had time to catch the sunset by the water. We don’t have many places that you can see a perfect sunset in Toronto, Humber bay park and Toronto Island are some other places that you can have a nice sunset for a photoshoot, and definitely Argonaut is one of them.
Back to the party, as expected everyone was on the dance floor, the crazy colors add by the venue made the backdrop of the photos so unique. After all that crazy hot day on the summer of Toronto, I was dead, but so happy that I could be a part of Adam and Geoff’s day.
